The “me” is 100% seeker; it is incapable of finding

The reason the seeking energy called “me” never finds what it’s looking for is because if it actually did, in that same instant, it would cease to exist. Finding = Death to the seeking energy the mind takes itself to be.

For example, let’s say you suddenly realize you don’t know where your car keys are and so you begin to seek them out. What happens the moment you find them? Do you think, “Oh, here they are… I better keep looking!” That doesn’t even make sense. Once the keys are found, you’re done searching.

When the impulse to seek finally drops away, the result is peace. Not a peace that is manufactured or made to be, but rather the peace that has always been present, but was simply not noticed because attention was focused on the seeking energy. Once the futility of seeking is seen through/let go of, the moment can simply be enjoyed as it is, without trying to get something from it.
