THE ME LIVES IN FEAR

“Remember when there was a time when there wasn’t Covid?
About a year ago… But think, didn’t your me have complaints about something else back then? Maybe money? Or health? Or, not enough friends? Or boredom… who knows. But the thing to get is that the me is never satisfied. There’s no hope for that one.

At Satsang we’re not trying to rehabilitate the me. We’re saying you’re not the me. You’ve never been the me. It’s a deep, deep delusion. It’s a dream that’s so persistent it’s hard to believe… “What do you mean I’m not a me??” You’re NOT a me… you’re not anything.”

The idea that “I” know what is right, and that others need to do this, and that “I” know what is wrong, and others need to not do this, is “I’s” dream of delusion and imaginary self-importance.

No one has ever done anything. There’s simply what’s happening. Non-Movement appearing as Movement. Emptiness appearing as Fullness. Nothing appearing as Everything. Formless appearing as Form. Without cause or reason. THAT is the unfathomable miracle right in front of you this very moment, every moment, that is obscured by this relentless obsession with “me.”
