Michael Jeffreys “Doerless doing, Seerless seeing, Hearerless hearing.” 8-12-20 Satsang

SATSANG NOTES

1. “Why are you unhappy? Because 99.9 percent of everything you think, and of everything you do, is for yourself—and there isn’t one.”

-Wei Wu Wei

MICHAEL: The me is 100% illusion. It never happened.

And without the me, there’s just the moment, however it is.

In other words, the experience is as it is, but there’s no owner. And that makes all the difference, because the me is an owner. The me knows things. And it owns things. And it tries to control things.

2. There is no future. There’s just THIS. There’s just whatever’s happening, however it’s appearing, for no one.

3. How can the Infinite contain limitation?

4. There’s just what’s happening, and no one’s doing it.

5. THIS is the Unknowable, disguised as the knowable.

JOSE: “Who am I?”

MICHAEL: “You’re not.”

6. How do you get rid of something that never existed?

7. Me says, “This is not enough.” Just the simplicity of whatever’s happening is never sufficient for the me. And yet, it’s all there ever is.

8. We don’t recognize that THIS, right now, IS the miracle.

“When we argue with Reality we lose, but only 100% of the time.”

-Byron Katie

9. The operative word is “owning.” This moment is totally free until the me tries to own it. If you don’t own this moment, then it’s like a cloud… it just passes all by itself.

10. When the body walks, it’s not the me that enables the body to walk.

11. Everything is IT, which is why you’ll never find it.
