There is no getting to SILENCE. New MJ Awakening Pointer

there is a voice that doesnt use words rumi

Every moment you’re not thinking, you ARE Silence. And in Silence, there are no words, which means there are no problems, no fears, no anxiety, no criticisms, no judgments, no nothing. Just Silence.

“Oh, this is just escapism…” says the mind. Blah, blah, blah… more mind noise, more “not Silence.”

You can’t think your way to Silence.

You can only BE Silence.

“Oh, but it’s not easy to quiet the mind.” Blah, blah, blah… more noise. “But I have responsibilities that require thinking…” Blah, blah, blah…

Being Silence means being Silence and nothing else.

  1. Exactly! Ahhh it’s so simple, yet our thinking mind doesn’t like simplicity eh! It’s amazing the amount of excuses and distractions we can find – and our mind can come up with to prevent you from just being. Thanks for the beautiful reminder about the power of silence. Sharon

    • “our thinking mind doesn’t like simplicity” You got it Sharon, and thus explains why mind can never be in silence… too simple… nothing for mind to do. 🙂 ❤

  2. Hi Michael,

Wow! “Blah, blah, blah..” says it all as far as quieting the mind. Truth and mind simply don’t mix.

    • Yes. And begin to NOTICE how often you “leave now” to go into mind, into story, into thought, into the false, into what’s not presently happening.

That’s the practice. But most want to talk/argue/debate ABOUT waking up rather than actually doing the practice 24/7 until Self-realization abides.

  3. Calming the monkey mind constant job. No one said it would be easy. Nice reminder how much work it takes. Thank you
