Where is ANYTHING prior to you being AWARE of it?? October 31, 2013

Have you ever noticed that you cannot be AWARE of something until the moment you actually become aware of it? This is not just “double-speak,” but actually a very profoundly subtle realization.

For example, you were not aware of this post until a moment ago when it “appeared” to you on your computer screen. “Prior” to this moment, this post did not exist to you! Now extrapolate that out to EVERYTHING you appear to be AWARE of!!

Where is ANYTHING prior to you being AWARE of it??

(Do not go to mind searching for the “right answer” because there isn’t one. Rather, simply BE with the question.)

Mind has no problem being “two-faced.” It says a lot of things: “I am happy, sad, appreciated, unappreciated, loved, not loved, clear, confused, depressed, joyful, calm, anxious,” etc.

And yet, WHO exactly is the mind speaking about when it says, “I AM… (fill in with anything)”? Is it YOU that actually changes from moment to moment, or is it the ever fickle mind?

Where are all Your Past Experiences in THIS Moment? October 3, 2013

My old desktop computer monitor died and as I was unplugging it the thought came about all the “experiences” that seem to have taken place via the monitor… the sharing on facebook, great conversations with friends, liking, answering and asking questions, looking at amazing and funny pictures, watching youtube videos, posting and looking at 1000s of posts, sending and receiving emails, etc.
And yet, as I looked at the dead monitor, cold black and grey plastic, lifeless… its as as if none of it had ever happened… as where are all those appearances NOW? In the monitor? No. The monitor did NOT experience all those different appearances… again, it is made of dead, lifeless, inert matter.

Only the Consciousness I AM, (and the mental ‘i’ in the head does nothing to bring this about, for it too is an appearance) is ALL that is ever alive and present, here and now, to experience anything… effortlessly so.

Consciousness is ALWAYS Present, Mind is NEVER Present October 1, 2013

 Consciousness = the present moment; Mind = time = past/future.

YOU, pure Consciousness ARE the present moment. TIME, the world, appearances, thoughts, feelings, sounds, words, pictures, stories, experiences, etc. all require time to exist.

These appearances seem to move from past to future, but are NEVER actually here long enough to be present!! Only pure Consciousness, YOU, are ALL that is ever actually present. Effortlessly and Eternally so! Everything else comes and goes.

Thus, the manifest world, which includes the body/mind, with all its myriad of appearances never actually touches YOU! You are eternally PRESENT, TIME is past-future. You never move, time is always moving seemly forward, from past to future. Mind = Time. Consciousness, Stillness, Presence, Peace, Love, The Eternal = YOU.
